Yep, well, as downloads go the way of the Dodo, CD, Tape, Mini Disc & Wax Cylinder, in the face of streaming (music as utility, you knew it was coming) turns out that Vinyl, with its paltry 100 years of backwards compatibility, is the last man, woman and child standing.
So if, you know, you like to have a relationship with music beyond mere consumption, boy do we have goodies for you. We stock dance, house, techno, dnb, hiphop, rock, indie, dub, reggae, blues, jazz and more. We don't do the usual suspect catalogue trick; we order random and awesome stuff from around the world.
In short, if you know what you want, you can get it anywhere and probably cheaper online. If you don;t know what you want, we are the place for you. Also do turntables, headphones and needles/styli - we are soooo good at finding your needle, even the haystack gave up trying to fight us.

Robin established his Gallery in 1976. After working at the esteemed David Jones Gallery under Robert Haines for a couple of years, he worked for the groundbreaking Bonython Art Gallery from 1967. When Kym Bonython closed in 1976, Robin decided to open his own gallery
Early on in its inception there were exhibitions by many of the top artists of the time including Brett Whiteley, Bryan Westwood, Tim Storrier and Joel Elenberg
In 1982 the gallery moved from Paddington (44 Gurner Street), to its current premises in Darlinghurst, in a Georgian house built in 1850. The photographs of Hilton 278 Liverpool Street Darlinghurst were taken by John Rae who built the house and was well-known for his topographical & natural history watercolours, as well as his photography which documented Sydney in the 2nd half of the 19th century
The gallery has continued to focus on living Australian artists, both emerging and established, although the gallery has now also gone on to represent a few artists’ estates, artists who were represented by the gallery while they were alive including Clement Meadmore, Oliffe Richmond, Elwyn Lynn Anne Wienholt and Peter Blayney
Known for its interest in sculpture, the gallery has an annual sculpture survey which predominantly showcases the work of sculptors represented by the gallery, Clement Meadmore, Erwin Fabian, Oliffe Richmond, Anne Wienholt and Terry Stringer
In recent years while continuing to represent established artists the gallery has been increasingly active in working with recent graduates, partly through the New Talent exhibition which showcases a selection of artists from various graduate shows including National Art School and the College of Fine Arts in Sydney, and also Monash University in Melbourne and The Royal College of Art in London.
