We'd like to invite you to our final drinks night for the 2018/2019 financial year ;) A fiscal xmas party, if you will.
When: 6 for 6:30pm, Monday June 3rd
Where: Eternity Playhouse, 39 Burton Street, Darlo
For this event we have snagged the stunning foyer of the Eternity Playhouse, home of the Darlinghurst Theatre Company (39 Burton Street), who are generously waiving their venue hire fee and putting on staff!
You know we like to keep these shindigs casual, but also useful and interesting. So to balance these somewhat competing needs, we will be providing drinks, nibbles and three guest speakers (bios below) who will be waxing lyrical on the following topics. Presentations will be short, interspersed with time to mingle and chat.
- The new casual employee laws
- EOFY accounting tricks and prep
- The new City of Sydney 24 hour trading DCP
Dry subjects indeed; but also very useful to know about if you employ people, pay tax, or want to know what the city is doing to help diversify the night time economy. Speakers will be announced closer to the date.
While we are a mainly group of local bricks & mortar businesses, we invite all passionate and interested Darlinghurst movers and shakers to come along and mingle. This is not as weird as it seems, considering the number of people with their own ABNs. We also firmly believe in community and that all the elements within it must work together for its benefit :)
This event is made possible by a Business Support grant from the City of Sydney Council and is supported supported by the Darlinghurst Theatre Company.
