Euro Star Dry Cleaner
100 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, NSW, 2010.

Eurostar saved the day when something mysteriously exploded in my luggage - leaving oil stains all over my clothes. Not only did they fix everything, they were also very friendly in the process. I continue to rely on them for advice on tailoring.

Price wise, it costs about $25 to get 2 pairs of pants and a shirt dry cleaned.

**According to the A4 stuck on the wall, this little cleaners is also part of Australian pop culture history as some scenes from Muriel's Wedding were filmed here.

Hans Madoery Design
Darlinghurst, NSW, 2010

After seeing some of Hans’ outstanding ink perspective drawings on his phone at the pub, we arrange to meet so I can get a closer look at his artwork. I get the call 9am Sunday morning, “meet me at the Bunker coffee shop at ten o’clock Graham, OK?” Sure is, and I jump out of bed, shower, grab my camera and notepad and head off.Hans is a well dressed, well spoken (with a Swiss accent), superbly presented older gentleman. He sips on a short black and starts to tell me about himself.
He lives locally in Darlinghurst, and still lives in the house he immigrated here from Basel, Switzerland in 1966.
